Chocolate Banana Porridge 


  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup (Oat)milk
  • 1/4 water
  • 1 tbs chia seeds/powder
  • 2 bananas
  • 2-3 squares dark chocolate

You can use 1tbs cacao powder instead of dark chocolate but the porridge won’t be as chocolatey looking. And of course you can adjust the ingredients to your liking.

This makes a large portion:

Add the oats, milk, water and chia seeds  to a  pan. Bring to the boil over a medium heat. Simmer on low heat for about 5-7 minutes and stir the whole time ( yes your arm might start hurting but it’s worth it, trust me)

I like my porridge to be softer so feel free to add more water/milk. When it’s done, I add two sliced bananas and mix it all together.

This is already sweet enough for me but you can add maple syrup or any other type of sweetener on top.
